Jenny,

On the Legacy training CDs, they recommend that you enter surnames regularly
and then select the proper options so the names will display in all
capitals.  The data will still be stored as you entered it, but displayed in
all capitals so it is more easily read.  I don't know exactly why they
recommend entering them regularly, and I don't know what standard practice
is.

I have read all this thread so far and no one else has queried this, so I
feel I must have got it wrong, but I thought it was "Correct" to enter
Surnames always in capital letters.

Is this not, then, standard genealogical practice?
