I don't use Legacy for that purpose, because Legacy doesn't seem to have a way of doing that, and it's easy enough to do in other programs. I use a text database program called askSam, where I record the addresses of people who write to me about family history. If they are related, I enter their RIN in a field i have for that purpose, and a couple of "Family" fields to record the families they are interested in, and a note of when they contacted me, and a brief description of their interests. Then if I find information on a particular family, it's a simple matter to search for those interested in that family. It works quite well for me, and it's not a feature I'd like to see added to Legacy (there are other things I'd rather see added first). -- Steve Hayes E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Web: http://www.geocities.com/hayesstw/stevesig.htm Phone: 083-342-3563 or 012-333-6727 Enter the drawing for a FREE Legacy Cruise to Alaska or a FREE research trip to Salt Lake's Family History Library.
