Thank you for the bad news. Are you saying I could have access put the marriage date into the picture date but it just would not change format as the regular Legacy dates do. If so I could live with that. If someone can show me how to do marriages I think I could adapt it for baptisms and deaths also.

As you have discovered, the date in tblBR is not stored in the same
fashion as other Legacy dates. I don't know if there is a reason for
this ... a programmer will have to respond.

The tblBR date gets stored as a text field based on the Date Format
setting at the time the date is entered. Changing your Date Format later
does not affect dates already in tblBR. But if you go in later and
change the date in Legacy it will store the updated date in whichever
Date Format is currently selected.

So, in a nutshell, to do what you want as "a flexible formatted date" is
not possible.
