"May" in this case means "are permitted to", so in theory, yes they do need to be released. But, as ever, the coach-and-horses hole in CC-BY-SA means that if your routing application combines the POIs itself (i.e. on the client), you are free to ignore the share-alike clause. It only applies if you deliver a combined OSM/proprietary file from the server. cheers Richard -- View this message in context: http://gis.638310.n2.nabble.com/OSM-legal-talk-Share-alike-tp5750998p5751096.html Sent from the Legal Talk mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ legal-talk mailing list legal-talk@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/legal-talk
