Highly unlikely to be removed, but we as project still need to evaluated the legal risk and the "authority" of the contributor's PD statement, along with the ambiguity if the data from 3rd party sources the contributor may have used could truly be declared as PD (or equivalent e.g. CC0). All very painful.
