making it optional would be a good idea i think, as there are some
people who do not like this proposal at all.
by optional i mean, mentioning it at the beginning and make the
instructions work with it, but not really using it (i do not know
actually if there are still problems with the instructions in svn,
but if there are it can not be a bad thing fixing them even if
we do not use the hint).
Anyway i would like to see the hint used in the main book.
