I suppose this is a non-binding vote now :-) but I'd second that
nomination and would be delighted if Dan could accept.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I would be glad to help out on the
LFS book if others think that's acceptable. As for the Release
Manager, I would love to get the ball rolling on this thing, but I
don't think it would be fair to everyone if I said I could handle it
all. I tend to bite off a little more than I can chew. I would be glad
to help out, though. Maybe I could share responsibilities with
someone.

Tushar would be great. I'd like to see Chris Staub added. He does more
testing and proofreading than almost anyone and has certainly shown
himself to have the knowledge. His status as an editor on CLFS makes
it even more enticing to me since it could help to stem a growing
divide.
