Hi, just to let you all know, I have (almost) seamlessly set up what I had running in slackware, lfs style; the checklist:-
able to rsync (through ssh) - tick able to export and mount nfs volumes - tick nice graphical interface (lestif) - tick able to read pdfs quickly (xpdf) - tick boot in 30 seconds - tick (nearly 2 minutes in slack) all for less than 1.5gb disk space - tick So, I'd like to give a big thankyou to all who have contributed to lfs and blfs for giving understanding, also for giving me the most advanced(?) bullsh*t free os in the world!
