No, the CPU is not being used. Here is another example (more extreme than usual): lftp ftp.openbsd.org:/pub/OpenBSD/3.7/packages/i386> debug -t lftp ftp.openbsd.org:/pub/OpenBSD/3.7/packages/i386> mget lsof* 2005-09-21 14:07:45 ---> PASV 2005-09-21 14:07:45 <--- 227 Entering Passive Mode (129,128,5,191,164,252) 2005-09-21 14:07:45 ---- Connecting data socket to (129.128.5.191) port 42236 2005-09-21 14:07:48 ---- Data connection established 2005-09-21 14:07:48 ---> LIST 2005-09-21 14:07:49 <--- 150 Have a Gorilla. 2005-09-21 14:12:08 <--- 226 There, everyone likes a Gorilla. 2005-09-21 14:12:08 ---- Got EOF on data connection 2005-09-21 14:12:08 ---- Closing data socket 2005-09-21 14:12:08 ---> TYPE I 2005-09-21 14:12:08 <--- 200 Switching to Binary mode. 2005-09-21 14:12:08 ---> SIZE lsof-4.69p0.tgz 2005-09-21 14:12:08 <--- 213 100536 2005-09-21 14:12:08 ---> MDTM lsof-4.69p0.tgz 2005-09-21 14:12:08 <--- 213 20050319014000 2005-09-21 14:12:08 ---> PASV 2005-09-21 14:12:08 <--- 227 Entering Passive Mode (129,128,5,191,170,55) 2005-09-21 14:12:08 ---- Connecting data socket to (129.128.5.191) port 43575 2005-09-21 14:12:09 ---- Data connection established 2005-09-21 14:12:09 ---> RETR lsof-4.69p0.tgz 2005-09-21 14:12:12 <--- 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for lsof-4.69p0.tgz (100536 bytes). 2005-09-21 14:12:18 <--- 226 Wow, that seems to have worked. 2005-09-21 14:12:18 ---- Got EOF on data connection 2005-09-21 14:12:18 ---- Closing data socket 100536 bytes transferred in 10 seconds (9.7K/s) lftp ftp.openbsd.org:/pub/OpenBSD/3.7/packages/i386> __________________________________________________________ Find your next car at http://autos.yahoo.ca
