I did it some years ago, when I was paid to do that... I only used mpeg4
video, but h.264 should work too.


BTW, someone is telling me that some versions of QT player for windows
are not very good in receiving h.264 over RTP (but they seem to play it
just fine from file). Before going on, check if your QT player can receive
an h.264 stream from DSS or some other streaming server...

That said, if it turns out that QT player is not able to receive h.264
streams from ffmpeg because of a bug in libavformat, I'll be happy to fix
the bug... But I do not know how to debug this problem.
