I didn't spot MXF when looking through ffmpeg source code! In addition to only supporting Op-1a, it seems that only mpeg2 video is supported, can anyone confirm if that's correct? Even if it could handle OpAtom it wouldn't be able to handle the DVCPRO100 essence inside. There are a few commerical MXF converters but they're all relatively expensive, 400 + You could download a copy of AVID Media Composer for a 30 day trial and use that to open and export the MXF files from P2. Otherwise, try these: http://mxf4mac.com/mxf-import http://www.opencubetech.com/page53/XFConverter I'm currently working on a solution to encode lots of different essence types as MXF (DV25, DV50, DV100, mjpeg 2:1, 4:1, 10:1 and 15:1, DNxHD36, 120 185). Once I've sorted that out, I'll work on a decoder and share it with everyone. Best Wishes, Chris. _______________________________________________ libav-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mplayerhq.hu/mailman/listinfo/libav-user
