I have managed to hack together plugin for Amarok 1.4. It works by
using the Last.fm submit daemon (lastfmsubmitd).
I know that the use of a plugin has been frowned upon, but I believe
this is a quick fix that will work while we wait for a patch to filter
through. Although I believe that no patch will come for 1.4 as Amarok
are working with Version 2 now.

I am willing to share this with other users, perhaps via the libre.fm
wiki, but wanted to check here first to make sure that using a plugin is
going to OK and is the way libre.fm wants to move forward on this issue.
