It worked for me. Version: 26.2.2.2 (X86_64) OS: Linux 7.0; VCL: gtk3

You can. There is even a tooltip that tells you this. You need to click into
the 'shortcut keys' area first though.

Once again, a tooltip gives you details about the differences. The very first
one in my list had the tooltip 'InsertAnnotation'. That one is also reported as
being assigned to Ctrl-Alt-C.

That's the one I assigned - it worked for me.

LibreOffice is a big, complex set of programs. Keyboard shortcuts need to be
shared with the OS, ideally match other products and standards, and work across
hundreds of different languages. It is guaranteed to be complex and difficult.

It sounds like you did pretty good figuring it out. I'd just double-check that
your new assignments match your expectation. Otherwise it seems like your OS
might have also already taken Ctrl-/.
