No, the 'Quickstart' "feature" leaves an soffice.exe/soffice.bin process running. And its UI also can can cause issues, and we've actually considered removing the feature. See bug 116142 and bug 116694. So the utility of using 'Quickstart' will vary depending on use case--system stand-by vs. shutdown, LibreOffice profile changes, hw configuration changes (physical displays, or resolution), etc.--I would not really consider it a workaround for balky performance/delay at start up. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
