But after getting your feedback, I realized that the bug could be in the pdf reader (I use pdf x-change viewer, which is a popular alternative for Adobe pdf reader.) And indeed this is so: The file does not have this issue in other pdf reader. (Since FireFox uses an addon of x-change viewer, it is bound to face the same problem! This is what confused me earlier.) I will raise the bug with tracker-software (the creators of the pdf x-change viewer). This bug may please be closed as worksForMe. (I cannot select that status.)
