The toshiba drives in these are 8.45mm high so it should fit OK.

To physically replace the drive is easy. Undo the two screws on the
bottom right-hand side holding the drive cover on. Remove the drive
cover. Inside is the drive with a flexible metal handle that pulls out
a bit. Pull on that slowly but firmly and the drive will come out. DO
NOT PUT THE NEW DRIVE IN YET. The metal handle is held on to the old
drive with two screws. Remove those and transfer the metal handle to
the new drive. If you do not do this it will be *almost* impossible to
remove the new drive. Now comes the tricky bit.

How do you intend to transfer the data from the old drive to the new
one? The people on this list can help, but we need to know some more
information about what other things you have available.

What Operating System are you running?
Do you have a desktop PC?
Do you have a 2.5" to 3.5" drive adapter?
Do you have a PCMCIA CDROM drive?
Do you still have the 3.5" PCMCIA Floppy drive?
Do you have the Toshiba Lib100CT Recovery CD?
Do you have a network card?

and any other information you think may be helpful.
