Subject: L50 not recognizing two new 6GB Toshiba drives
I've recently tried two new MK6411MAT Toshiba drives in my L50. It doesn't recognize
either of them. It is working fine with a used MKD6412MAT right now, but it sure
doesn't like those 6411's.
Before I get into the details of exactly how these drives don't work, I'd like to
solicit anyone else's experience (good and bad) with L50s and the MK6411 drive. I'm
running BIOS 6.50.
