Subject: Touchscreens for Librettos - alternatives

Hi all,

I have not received a response from the company yet (email sent on Feb 3), which
promises to support individuals and companies with touchscreen retrofits. Therefore I
am looking for devices and solutions, which could replace the touchscreen. I am
interested in these things, because I would like to use the Libretto very mobilely
like my Jornada with one hand holding it and the other using the stylus or the
keyboard. So I am interested in solutions, which do not require a desk or something
else to use a mouse.

Had anybody tried to use wired or wireless assistive technology in order to compensate
the missing touch screen, such as:
- finger trackballs, which are mounted on your finger and do not need a desk,
- eye gaze systems, which observe the users eye movements,
- minitrackballs for slots and minimouses,
- MouseKeys program to simmulate the mouse via arrow keys and others,
- NoMouse,
or others?

I would like to hear from you.

Bernhard
