The finger trackball has a couple of advantages: 1. Good for presentations. You can use the mouse pointer instead of a laser pointer, launch and manipulate programs without breaking the flow of the presentation. 2. Usable with either hand. I can't mouse worth a damn with my left hand, but the trackball is almost as good in my left as my right. Good for when my wrist gets tired from mousing all day. 3. Since it does not require a desk, you can rest your arm comfortably while mousing, further decreasing wrist fatigue, and you can use it in situations where surface area is lacking, e.g. on an airplane. 4. Maybe my Lib mouse is just a little sticky and sluggish, but I find it much easier to use the trackball to control the pointer. 5. It's tiny! Easily portable. Disadvantages: 1. You must put it down to type, and pick it back up to mouse. This quickly annoys if you have to switch often. 2. Left-click drag is slightly challenging, right-click drag is well-neigh impossible. (But then these are more difficult with the Lib mouse.) 3. Not very good for FPS's! =) I can spin the desktop trackball as if I'm playing Centipede, but that's a no-go for the finger trackball. There you go, a tiny review. HTH, HAND. =) Shultz _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com ************************************************************** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ -------TO UNSUBSCRIBE------- Reply to any of the list messages.
