Maybe I missed something in your earlier posts, but what is it about the 
Libretto's screen panel-mounted mouse that is insufficient to your purposes?  
I use a touchpad on a work laptop and it is awkward and clumsy in any sitting 
position, if the laptop is laptopped.  The Lib mouse is much more natural to 
use, and can be easily manipulated while holding the Lib with the left hand.  
One-handed typing....well maybe.
