Oh2... yeah... I had understood you were playing back okay, but having recording problems... I was just going back to my own original problem of not even being able to get playback going on my L70. I meant more to be pointing out the 98Lite approach for solving both our problems. At the point I wrote that I hadn't yet tested the recording function. But now with a tiny 98Lite partition set up and the 2 OSs set up to dual boot, I can use the TDK to playback audio in the standard Win98 partition, and then boot to the 98Lite OS to do any recording which works fine now. One big 30GB partition at the end of my 40GB HDD is just dedicated to data/MP3s and now recorded wav files. I >am< having a problem with the low recording level I'm getting through the TDK. I've switched the output from the receiver from line-out to headphone output where I can pump up the signal feeding the TDK's line-input. But for some reason the signal in SoundForge levels off at -7.5db, and won't pump up to the 3.5db point the sound card in my PC will get to in SF. > absolutely no problems on my L110 playing music > files at all for 1+hr. I'm guessing you haven't had enough time as late to play with the recording problem... yes? Matt _______________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
