Well... I was told that this cheapo $15 Bytecc USB2 PC
Card wouldn't require the external PS/2 cable to
accept and read a CF memory reader.  But neither of
the 2 CF readers I plugged into the ports gave any
indication it was being recognized.  PnP saw nothing. 
I had to connect the PS/2 socket power cable to get
either of them recognized.  Not a big deal I guess...
esp. for $15.

Must say the $10 USB 2.0 PCI card for my desktop, and
the $10 MediaGear 8 in 4 multiple memory reader seem
to work fine.  Now MP3 transfers go at about 1/4 of
the time they did with USB 1.1
