Well... It looks like this L110 I built a few months back from a used 110 MB I bought, and parts from my 100 has died. It doesn't do anything when powered on besides spinning the HDD, and lighting the 1st, 3rd, and 4th LED from left to right. It doesn't load BIOS settings when holding down ESC at boot. It only once displayed a message to load a BIOS update by holding down F12 at boot, and hasn't repeated that since. I've tried: * Booting it with nothing but the AC adapter (no battery, HDD or FDD). * Booting with nothing but the battery. * Booting with just the FDD & AC. * Booting with FDD & battery. * Reseating 32MB memory upgrade and display cable. * Booting without the expansion memory Sounds a lot like Pres's problem with his L50 back in 1999: http://www.technoir.nu/libretto/list/1999/msg04252.html My only hope is that it will come back to life by letting it sit for a few days. That worked back when I 1st got this 110MB, and was mentioned in that thread on Pres's problem... though I'm not hopefull. Every time I had this problem was when I was building and tweaking the system, right after I made some change. This time the system was working fine for some time (beside the shutdown and audio problems I'd just fixed. Ironic this happened right after Giovanni's post on the similar sounding problem with his L50.
