Some observations:
1. You have power, otherwise the LEDs wouldn't light and the HDD
wouldn't spin.
2. The X660 doesn't sound like a fuse or any other device that I have
heard of. (Rxx for resistors, Cxx for capacitors, Fxx for fuses, ICxx or
U for integrated circuits, Dxx for diodes, Kxx for relays, Jxx for
connectors, Txx for test points, Qxx for transistors, and so on)
3. If these two devices look exactly like the fuses in the L70, they
probably are fuses (probably 1 Amp and 2 Amp rating). Don't know what
the round symbol and the b or X mean, but it may a manufacturers logo
and date code.

I didn't get a chance to open up my L100 yet - should get time this
weekend.

Check to see if you can find 12V on the MB anywhere.

I just pulled the heatsink from the 110 MB and found what look like two
of the same fuses that are on the 70 MB.

On the top of the case of each is written:

1st one: 2.00(round symbol)b - Also has X660 written on MB to the side
2nd one: 1.00(round symbol)X

Both measure open circuited like the one on the 70 had some years back.

Wonder if you'll find a 1-2 ohm resistance there Dick.

Matt
