Hello,
I'm a newbie to this list. Just got myself a L110; and
when I booted up, I saw the message "RTC battery bad;
CMOS checksum bad" etc. Reading the manual told me
that the RTC battery is a NiMH one, and that it takes
48 hours to recharge after sitting for a long time. So
I'm in the process of recharging it.
Doing a Google search, I found a post on this list
dated Monday 20Jan2003, where someone posted an URL to
the L100mm.zip file, which has detailed instructions
on how to replace the RTC battery. That URL no longer
works.
Would one of the list members happen to have this
zipped file on their hdd they would be willing to
share? or better yet, know of a working URL where I
can download this file?
