As discussed a while ago, there are some issues with bulk transfers on XHCI controllers. The fix for this consists of both some kernel changes as well as libusb changes.
This is a repost of the RFC version of the libusb patches, since the kernel changes are now merged and released in the 3.6-rc1 kernel, these patches no longer have RFC status. Please review and merge these, or review and ack them and I'll push them myself.
