Okay, the libxml2 project has been created. (it happened so fast I
think Tom Copeland must have been sitting the "create libxml2 project
button" ;).

Couple of things to do first...

I assume it's best to create a new mailing list. I suppose I can send
out invitations to all the old list members (anyone see any reason not
to do that?)

I'll announce the new project on ruby-talk once we have the repo checked in.

Unless someone wants to put up a damn good argument as to why we
should start from scratch, then we'll go ahead move forward with with
the current code base.

The new repo is SVN, not CVS. I'd like to have a hands on libxml coder
do the initial check-in. Someone with a fair idea how to migrate from
CVS to SVN. Any takers? I figure we need to check in the current
stable release as a tag/ and Ross' development version as the current
trunk. Sound right?

Anything else I'm forgetting?

A big thanks to everyone for their input on this! I'm looking very
much forward to seeing this project blossom.

T.
