I am using 1.2.6 but I did notice that it is only using qt-gui 1.2.4. From memory it 
refused to compile qt-gui 1.2.6. Kept saying something about not being able to find 
the qt libs or something like that and I know they exist in the right spot.

What version of Licq are you using?  That feature was added in 1.2.6 I believe.
