Alto clef, as Eef suggested, is actually the best solution for this
particular passage. (After all, I wouldn’t be a full-fledged early-music
singer if I weren’t flexible with clefs!)

If you use my solution, it’s probably best to use half notes consistently
in leftHandUpper. See updated screenshot:

And I’d add a footnote or some other text to the effect of “When reading
the ‘tenor’ voice, disregard bar lines.” This way, the keyboardist is less
likely to think there is a typo.

I like Paul’s solution, too.
