Now, that's a studio, not a gallery of completed art.
A studio is where you find the tools and by-products
of pending or finished artistic production scattered
about--Gimp brushes are a good example, but it's not
limited to that. I guess it's never been made really
clear that it's open to contributions, or it probably 
would be as successful as has the Useless Python site 
<http://home.jam.rr.com/mspiggie/index.html>, which,
no coincidence, operates on some similar philosophy
(see quote at top of the first page of source code).
