Species Conservation
For more than three decades, WWF has led international efforts to save
life on earth. We seek a Program Officer for our Species Conservation
Program, with an emphasis on Asia and Africa. The successful candidate must have
excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, and the ability
to undertake literature / web-based research. Candidate will assist with program
management, including planning and monitoring. Candidate will be expected to operate
with considerable independence, often under the pressure of tight deadlines. A
friendly, energetic, and collaborative individual with good judgment and a sense of
humor is required. Basic office computer skills critical. Graduate degree in natural
resources-related field or equivalent experience required. Two years overseas
experience strongly preferred.
