Hi Pranav,

Yes there is a Xtra called Progress Copy. It is from UpdateStage & was
written by Glenn Picher. Here is some information from the web site:

============

The ProgressCopy Xtra copies files with an optional progress bar
display. The progress display can include a custom text message, and
provides the user with a Cancel button.

The most common use of ProgressCopy is to copy files from a CD ROM to
the user's hard drive as part of an install. You can also use it with
image library or browser applications to allow the user to copy
selected images and media from the CD to their hard drive on demand.

Although there are other Xtras, including Macromedia's own FileIO
Xtra, that can be used to copy files, ProgressCopy offers these
advantages over other solutions:

Can display a progress dialog, which is especially helpful to the user
during a long file copy
Copies both the resource and data fork of Mac files
