I have difined a dns server on one of my linux guest but still the login process is still slow. I currently have 5 linux lpars. and all the other four are slow during login. Also when I IPL my Linux instances they take long to connect. Sometimes I have to do the manual ifconfig and/or ping on the VM site to get my linux instances to connect.
