I am feeling pretty foolish right now that I can't figure out how to change a guests hostname. I made a copy of a RH linux quest using DDR. IPLed the machine. Modified all the network settings so that it had it's own IP address. I can ssh to it fine. But it has the old hostname. I have tried using the hostname command to set it to the new name. I have tried creating an /etc/HOSTNAME file with the new name. But every time I re-IPL the old hostname comes back. Can someone tell me where I need to change it so that it is permanent?
