I set up the USS SMB server some years ago. It was rather a pain in the neck to set up and use. I also spent a number of hours with IBM Level 2 trying to get the system to appear in the Network Neighborhood, but it never worked. I eventually abandoned the effort. Then, when Linux/390 came along, I used Samba and never looked back.

There was an interesting presentation. Has anyone got this going? Yes, use smbclient. Or mount -t smb if you want it to just appear in the regular filesystem. Adam
