Everyone has access to the source code. One of my favorite URLs is http://lxr.linux.no/source/drivers/s390/?a=s390. Navigate into the "net" subdirectory and there you go. IDX TERMINATE code 0x22 means that the portname specified conflicts with a portname already set in the adapter by another active subchannel on the same chpid.
