What do you mean by "VM clocking"?   X CLOCK?
Yes

What emulator are you using?  That sounds more like an emulator problem,
if
CP FORCE helped -- if you were hung in CP, that wouldn't do much.  Extra
is
particularly bad for hangs in my experience (and the current version
doesn't
hang, it GPFs if I type too fast...amazing).
We use Reflection from  WRQ. I am not sure if it is to do with Reflection.
Even from 3270 integrated console, I have experienced unexplained delays.
Fro what I recall, when I hit clear  after #CP LOGOFF or #CP DISC there is
a noticeable delay.
