Hello, I'm still having some problems installing sles9 on an LPAR.
1) from HMC loaded SLES 9 successfull.
2) SSH to lpar sucessfull
3) Selected SAMBA as install source.
a) replied with appropriate IP number for my PC and CD as my directory
and the ping was successfull.
4) Then I receive the following error.
Searching for file info.....
*** could not find the SUSE linux Enterprise server 9 installation source
Activating manuall setup program
5) If I continue on with install I was abled to bring YasT using
X-SERVER. I could not continue because it was unable to find product
packages.
Has anybody installed sles9 linux on LPAR sucessfully using SMB. Any help
is appreciated.
