Michael, You'll need to be a little more explicit. Are you saying that you want to move to an environment where you'll be using 9 separate minidisks that make up an LVM VG, with multiple file systems carved out of it on multiple logical volumes?
If so, then with the caveat that your /boot directory needs to be on a "real" minidisk and not an LVM LV, then you should be able to do it without reinstalling. Check out http://linuxvm.org/Info/HOWTOs/movefs.html for an example of how to do it for one file system, then just repeat.
