Just last week I was working with a customer on a problem with his Intel/AMD system. He had / on an LV. We couldn't get the VG to build. We couldn't get to the LVM data in /etc/ because we couldn't get the VG to build. I.e., there was no way to fix the problem. He wound up restoring from backup. Is that enough of a minus?
