Hi Mike, Our VM is pretty easy. We have the z/VM base and added DIRMAINT and Performance toolkit.
The z/VM base has all you need to run zLinux. Dirmaint makes your life a lot easier and it can do some password expiration. RACF is a bit too much for our system as we only have a few z/VM users. You also would use a performance monitor tool, like performance toolkit or Esalps. Regards, Berry. -----Original Message----- From: Linux on 390 Port [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mike Eves Sent: dinsdag 9 december 2008 9:46 To: LINUX-390@VM.MARIST.EDU Subject: z/VM Software stack to support zLinux Hi, I am trying to establish a z/VM software stack to support zLinux and would be grateful for any advice or recommendations. I want to be able to run a robust and secure z/VM environment using traditional mainframe support teams. Many thanks.
