I think the disk geometry of 0's  looks suspicious.

This appears to be a bug in zipl. The SLES11 version of zipl does not
contain any code to support writing IPL records to multipath devices.
Consequently zipl should abort with the same message as in SLES10. I'll
have a look into this.

As for the actual multipath/logical volume support for zipl: that code
has not yet been released as it is currently in testing stage.
