the HiperSockets issue after HW upgrade requires a Linux upgrade: - see Novell bugzilla 659101 for SLES11 SP1 - see Novell bugzilla 662984 for SLES10 SP4 - RHEL 5.7 - RHEL 6.1 Description: qdio: use proper QEBSM operand for SIGA-R and SIGA-S Symptom: Operand exception leading to kernel panic. Problem: Wrong SIGA operand on QEBSM enabled qdio devices. Solution: Use proper SIGA operands in QEBSM mode. Switching QIOASSIST OFF for HiperSockets Devices should circumvent the problem.
