While doing testing for z/OS Container Extensions, I tried to get
Chromium built as a test workload, but I was unsuccessful. If I recall
correctly, one of the build tools used in the bootstrap process does not
support s390x. I managed to find a forum post where Google said they
don't have plans to support that architecture, so I abandoned the test
as a dead end.

Thanks, Mark. That's pretty much the feedback I've gotten from others,
as well. No problem, though.

I'd like to run Google Chrome on Red Hat z/Liunx...does anyone know

I just tried to build Chromium on the openSUSE Build Service. It failed
due to what seems like in-line assembler code in the source. I suspect
that there's not a pre-built binary out there, unless someone has gone
to a fair amount of trouble to get it to build. That no one has spoken
up in this mailing list would indicate that none of the usual suspects
have made that effort.
