Hi
I am making progress in the line drawing prob in the herc driver:-

1. I have found out the memory layout of the herc card. I found a very
usefull site www.cubic.org

2. To verify one important thing, cord 0,0 = top left and 720,348 = bottem
right. Is the CORRECRT???

3. I am pritty new to all this stuff, hell I only heard of Linux 1 year ago.
I figure not many people actully need herc support which means I can take my
time, because I have never done anything like this before. This is ok with
everyone right?

4. I know how to go about writing the function, I just need to find the time
to do it.

5. This is my understanding of the prob, correct me if I have go compleatly
wrong, or have gotten the wrong idea. So at the moment a draw pixel function
is called many times each time altering memory "bit" by "bit". I have to
write a func that writes a byte at a time to memory, (8 bits) and in case of
the herc card 8 pixels.

6 Cant think of anything else.

thanks
