What is your hdparm -t and -T performance then? I'll try and find out
what the BP6-problem-database at bitwizard has in common for the
lockup-people, but roughly looking at it, it *could* be that UDMA66 is
some kind of problem. (Note that mine seems all right now, although I
turn it off at night (too much noise near my bed ;)
