I do? Are you sure? Whatever it was called, the then-current version
of Windows had already had IE integrated. IE components had been
documented as part of the Platform SDK. Applications taking advantage
of them had already been released. Removing them would absolutely have
damaged the product.

There is such a thing as being overly cautious.

In the 1950's, it was proposed that a hurricane might be broken up by
dropping an H-bomb within it. Then it was discovered that the typical
hurricane expends close to 1,000 H-bombs' worth of energy EVERY SECOND.

It's all about energy flow.

The *only* thing that we can do to change the climate is that which
changes the terrain sufficiently to alter the energy flows in
rivers and air currents.

And even then, all we will do is *change* the energy flow, not destroy
it.

If a major river is re-routed, the climate will be *CHANGED* not
destroyed.
If a mountain range is leveled, the climate will be *CHANGED*, not
destroyed.

In either case, some organisms will suffer, and others will prosper.

All in all, it's a zero-sum game.

Of course, the Windows programmer was an uneducated boob (who woulda

who failed (who woulda thunk it) to safeguard against such an occurance
(who woulda thunk it).

Microsft and usage is all about being uneducated.

By estimate of one of the bigwig Nazi defendants at the Nurenburg
trials,
when asked how many Jews were killed, he estimated "6 million"

6 million Jews alone. That doesn't count:

non-Jewish Germans
non-Jewish Russians
non-Jewish French
non-Jewish British
non-Jewish Poles
non-Jewish Czechs
non-Jewish Slovaks
non-Jewish Austrians
non-Jewish Americans
non-Jewish Ukrainians
non-Jewish Khazaks (Cossacks)
non-Jewish Lithuanians
non-Jewish Latvians
non-Jewish Estonians
non-Jewish Norwegians
non-Jewish Moldavians
non-Jewish Bulgarians
non-Jewish Canadians
non-Jewish Dutch
non-Jewish Belgians
non-Jewish Luxemburgers
non-Jewish Greeks
non-Jewish Yugoslavs
non-Jewish Maltese
non-Jewish Morrocans
non-Jewish Libyans
non-Jewish Egyptians
non-Jewish Albanians
non-Jewish Italians
non-Jewish Romanians

...and other nationalities I can't rember at the moment.

When these "non-Nazi" soldiers, sailers, and aircrew were:

        A) invading Austria, Czechloslovakia, Poland, Holland, Belgium,
France, Luxumberg, Bulgaria, Romania, Russia, Belorus, Ukraine,
Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Norway, Greece, Crete, Yugoslavia,

Breat Britain, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Iceland,
Greenland, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Guyana, French Guyana,
Columbia, Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Belize,
         Guatamala, Malta and Mexico,

         and

        C) carrying out bombing campaigns against all of the aforementioned
        countries in Africa and Europe

And D) killing soldiers from all of the aforementioned countries.

Was their 'work' on behalf of a government under the complete control
of a Nazi dictator:

A) No
B) YES

Actually you CAN run some of the MAc stuff you have with either Sheepshaver
(www.sheepshaver.com, $50) or Mac on Linux project which is a GNU project
(www.ibrium.se/linux/mac_on_linux.html) Neither are quite finished but they
are (most likely) in a pretty usuable condition.

It applies at any level of jurisdiction. I chose "the nation"
becaus that is the concept that people are most familiar
within the context of the typical national
corporate-state pick-pocket-the-workers-to-support-welfare-slobs model.

Your theories contradict the evidence.

D: Jet claims to have killfiled me.

E: Jet now follows me from newgroup to newsgroup
   ...despite (D) above.

F: Neither Jeem nor Jet are worthy of the time to compose a
   response until their behavior improves.

G: Unit_4's "Kook hunt" reminds me of "Jimmy Baker's" harangues against
adultery while concurrently committing adultery with Tammy Hahn.

H: Knackos...you're a retard.

It's a relevant point about Loren Petrich's personality.

J: Loren Petrich's 2-week stubborn refusal to respond to the
challenge to describe even one philosophical difference
between himself and the communists demonstrates that, in fact,
Loren Petrich is a COMMUNIST ***hole

A: The wise man is mocked by fools.

B: "Jeem" Dutton is a fool of the pathological liar sort.

C: Jet plays the fool and spews out nonsense as a method of
