And what did you base your original opinion that NT was at fault on? A
GAO report? Or was it the same original news article I read where the
"whistle-blower" claimed calculators deal with divide-by-zero by
returning zero?

I've never seen a single news article by a reputable source that claimed
NT crashed. Care to give one to me?

(Personally, I think the whole things idiotic. I wouldn't run a ship,
power plant or similar operation with NT. Wouldn't run it with Linux
either- pick something like QNX or VxWorks that's actually designed for
that kind of job. But this has become a classic urban legend: a kernel
of truth, followed by tons of misquoting, exaggeration and finally the
firm belief in something for which there is little to no evidence.)

Wrong. KDE is a copy of HP's CDE (Common Desktop Environment).

does to mail off a virus.

But when the e-mail comes from one's supervisor, the tendancy is
to trust it.

besides, it really doesn't matter if you open up the virus-laden
excel macro inside your e-mail or if you save it first and then
load it up...you're STILL fucking screwed, because Losedows STILL
doesn't have proper filesystem protection via permission bits or
any other similar scheme.

They bear a similarity, but what you makes think KDE took all of it's
ideas from Windows? What about the places that Windows took it's idead
from? KDE took many of it's ideas from those places.

Besides, here is proof that uner 100% of KDE is ripped from Windows: the
name is ripped from CDE (as is quite a lot else)

You are such an ass. Revisionist fuck. The hardware runs the same if it
is being used as a server or a worstation. You are trying to change what
you said, which make you a revisionist asshole. It is noted that you
