The cs89712 chip reads CS89712-CB EP KTAPUD0042BA while some recently bought cs89712 chips read KTA*CA as well as some chips on rev-C boards (supposed to be more recent than rev-A boards :) ). I could only find informations about "CS89712-CB EP" naming scheme but nothing about the KTA* neither about any revision history for cs89712.
