This morning, i experienced something very strange.
Logged as root, my terminal had a strange behaviour : arrrows, del ,...
didn't work.
i typed 'reset' ... it answed 'terminal unknown. what type of terminal
:'.
I logged out from this first terminal, and tried log again typing my
login. The linux box erased my login wuthout asking the root password...
impossible to log in on this window! Fortunately, i had another root
session opened, i decided to reboot : response from the linux box : You
don't exist. Go away !
Impossible to do a command !. 'whoami' ---> unabled to find user UID 0
(or something like this, i don't remember exactly).
All the users were not regognised.
I turned off the power, and now it's clear.
Can someone tell me the reason of this problem ? where it comes from ?
